Statement on the fundamental direction of the medium

This website introduces and presents the “Astronaut for a Day - Austria” initiative. This competition aims to raise awareness among young people about the space sector and the many careers associated with it, and is based on the selection process for astronauts as practiced by space agencies around the world.

The FFG operates this website and makes it available to the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI) and Ars Electronica Linz GmbH & Co KG for the purpose of implementing the initiative.
